This
week:
Hot
Hot Hot
104 degrees Ties
Record “all time”
Yes it is hot!
This was our third day of 100 plus degree temperatures. Today set an all time record high for
North Carolina. We decided to
head out to the lake, pull the boat out of the water and go for a swim. The boat part went “quick and easy”
so it was on to a swim. We were
the only ones at Lake Norman Yacht Club on this Thursday afternoon. We took Hermione and she “loved” the
opportunity to get wet. The lake
is quite low as we have not been receiving “normal” rainfall. This is causing problems at many area
lakes and boat ramps.

The first three pictures are from Wendell and Pat’s home on Lake Norman.

These two pictures were
taken at the yacht club.
