Trigger is exceeding
my hopes and expectations in what I was looking for in getting
a new pup. I have been involved in agility training for nearly ten
years and enjoy competing both locally and in national competitions.
I was looking for a pup that would be a superior athlete, biddable,
and highly driven. I needed a dog of sound temperament that would
be comfortable around other dogs and people, and in new settings and
environments. Soundness, temperament and drive were of utmost importance
to me.
Trigger has met these
requirements; she is smart, trainable, athletic and driven She
is easy to live with, good humored, makes friends with all she
meets, human and canine. She is not stressed in new places, and
can wait ringside with quiet interest. She has a cheerful nature,
bringing fun and confidence to her activities.
I had not tried herding with my previous dogs,
but gave it a try with Trigger. She brings incredible instinct
and natural ability to working with sheep, so I am finding a whole
new fascinating world opening up to me through her.
She is a joy and I am
looking forward to a great future together.

Update
1-20-03
At 27 months Trigger
has blossomed into a confident, hard working,
and happy dog, always
ready to go and give her all to whatever we are
doing. She is doing
great in agility and is always fun to run. She has
finished her AX and
AXJ in AKC, and her AAD in USDAA, and has qualified
for the 2003 USDAA National
Steeplechase Championships. She is very
consistent and fast,
she drives herself constantly and smoothly through
the courses.
She has also matured
into a lovely sheepdog. She has lovely
outruns and moves and
controls the sheep very easily. We have begun
competing successfully
in USBCHA trials.
Trigger is a very sweet and
affectionate girl and
follows me about the house and sleeps by my pillow,
she is a joy to live
with.

Ann and Trigger ran
in their first USBCHA trial in Novice on 1-1-03 and finished
third.
I would like to thank
Ann for giving Trigger a lovely home and
wonderful opportunities
to enjoy her life in both agility and herding.
