Some puppy pictures

Wren always seems to have a muddy nose!

Don't let that sweet face fool you!

Wren is 12 weeks old today!

Both her ears stood up today for the first time, will they both stay up?
She is now in puppy class. She has the fastest sit and down I have ever seen!
I'll try to get some pic's next week at class.
Do the glowing eyes reveal the 'She Devil' within?
*****

Ears are still up!

But something else is much more interesting.....and it is right over there.
Can you see it?

Wren graduated from puppy class last night.
She was awarded 'The puppy with the most tricks'.
In her bag of treats was a key ring, but I drew the line at that.
I refused to let her have it.
She is smart no question and a very special puppy.
I am sure she will drive the sheep really well,
but I am also sure I am not going to let her drive the car!

The weather is getting hot!
The lazy days of summer are here.
Best thing to do is to sit in the shade on the cool grass and relax.

Wren has a new game she likes to play, we call Squeaky Ball.
Aussie rules, which as far as I can tell are,
1. The ball is to be kept in constant motion
2. Points scored for throwing it into the air or bouncing it off her nose
3. Ball has to be squeaked at least once every 5 seconds until she drives me crazy!
Repeat until....
I take the ball away from her and will not give it back.

Then she likes to cool off her feet in the dam

.....and then we sit back in the shade on the cool grass again.

Sheep!

Today was Wren's first time on sheep since she was 8 weeks old.

I will spare you the other 50 pics I took of my fantastic little girl! LOL

21 weeks.

~~~~~~
Wren is now 9 months old.
This was Wren's 4th time on sheep. I really really like her confidence
 and keenness. I still want to wait a few more months to start her in earnest
and I can not wait. This girl is good at everything she does!
~~~~~~~

Wren at 11 months.
She is growing into a beautiful, graceful athlete!

Wren is now 1 year old!
She is such a cutie and very fun to work with.
  Her hips were done and they are excellent!

She is coming along with her sheep work. She is all business,
very keen and she is quick. However, she is easy to control
and is already starting to rate her self when behind. She has
 excellent feel for her sheep and her balance is perfect. Wren
is confident and keeps a cool head. I just need to work her
more regular now and she should come along well.

I have had a few inquiries about pups from Wren.
I do have tentative plans to breed her in the future.
Her first litter would be no sooner than late 2013
early 2014. The sire is undecided.

I think she would cross very well with Imp. Chip.
I am very tempted to use Duke one last time, he is such a
talented sheepdog and has such a nice temperament.
Byanaway Stig is also high on the list of possible sires for her litter.
All 3 dogs are DNA CEA normal so can be bred to Wren
and no affected pups will be produced.
It is nice to be so spoiled for choice!

  I have started a waiting list, if interested in a Wren x ?? pup
please let me know.
