Duke is my main work dog.
He is fully trained on sheep and is very keen to work, excellent balance, natural pace and square flanks.
He has a nice feel for his sheep, does not rattle them, but has plenty of power. Duke took well to driving
and progressed easily with his training. He is a reliable dog and you can count on him not to do foolish things.
He currently does all the chores, including gathering the large field with an 800 meter outrun, drive, pen,
sort sheep and hold ewes with lambs.
Duke has a lovely outgoing happy temperament, he enjoys life.
He is great with other dogs and people, trustworthy with children and puppies.
He is also extremely athletic and has a lovely build.
Duke is everything I could have asked for.
He is my best friend and capable worker on the paddock.![]()
