The Cairn Terrier
This video from the American Kennel Club is primarily
intended for prospective Judges of the breed. As such it presupposes that the
viewer understands a number of technical terms relating to breed structure and
movement. Nevertheless, it is an interesting tape in that it shows Cairns live
and points out both desireable features and those you would want to avoid in
selecting a Cairn.

Grooming Your Cairn
This video was sponsored by the Cairn Terrier Club of Greater Detroit
and is available from them. It features noted Breeder, Professional Terrier
Handler, and Judge, Peggy Beisel McIlwaine, who demonstrates Cairn
Terrier grooming from start to finish. Although this video could
stand a little editing, it is valuable in that the viewer can
actually see the grooming process.

Movement in the Cairn Terrier
This video, created by Rachel Page Elliott, and produced by the Cairn Terrier Club of America,
is an excellent and unique presentation of Cairn Terrier movement.
Using live Cairns in motion, it does a beautiful job of relating structure to movement.
It not only clearly shows how proper structure leads to proper movement,
it also shows how faults adversely affect movement. An interesting feature of this film
is its use of motion picture X-rays which allow the Viewer to actually see how
the skeletal structure affects movement. This is a must-have video for the serious
student of the Breed.
